Places of Interest: Natural Attractions: Turners Hall Woods

Turners Hall Woods is a 50-acre site located in the parish of St.Andrew.

The woods contain magnificent examples of the Sand Box, Silk Cotton, Fustic, Cabbage Palm, Trumpet Tree, Locust and Macaw Palm (indigenous).

Turners Hall Woods survives as one of the last remanents of the dense tropical forest which covered Barbados at the time of the first settlement in 1627.
