The Banks International Hockey Festival attracts teams from across the globe
- Barbados, the Caribbean, Europe, Britain, South America, the United States
and Abu Dhabi.
The festival, described as the biggest single annual field hockey tournament
in the hemisphere, is divided into men's, women's, veterans and mixed-team divisions.
The hockey is competitive yet friendly, and visiting teams take the opportunity
to enjoy the fine weather and warm Barbadian hospitality.
The astroturf at the Sir Garfield Sobers Sports Complex provides a world-class
surface on which parts of the tournament will be played.
